Sponsorship

How do you get information about museum goods and services to professionals who buy those goods and services? Become a sponsor of the Association of Academic Museums and Galleries (AAMG) annual all day conference, Saturday, April 28, 2012, at the Frederick R. Weisman Art Museum, University of Minnesota, in Minneapolis. This year's topic, "Tools of Engagement: Securing Commitment on Campus" will attract academic museum leaders from around the country, including many from the greater Minneapolis area. I am writing to request you consider sponsorship support for this event.

The AAMG is comprised of academic museum and gallery professionals, plus architects, corporate curators and others in allied professions. Each year the AAMG organizes a dynamic one-day conference focused on themes and topics that are a priority to the academic museum leaders and decision-makers that attend, and schedules it to coincide with the American Association of Museum's annual meeting. Consequently, it is a well-attended event, and a highlight of the AAMG and affiliate events each year.

AAMG annual conference sponsorship is a cost-effective way to reach university and college museum and gallery directors, curators and administrators in attendance, and to support this national organization. Sponsors will be recognized in all press materials and on the AAMG Conference website as well as announced on the AAMG-L listserv (3,000 members at http://dir.groups.yahoo.com/group/AAMG-L/). Additionally, sponsors receive complimentary admission to the Conference and with it the opportunity to network with potential clients in an informal setting. Conference print materials can also include corporate logos and an information table will be available to distribute your corporate materials.
