AAMG Academic Museum Leadership Seminar

Application is open to individuals currently holding positions of leadership (director, deputy/assistant/associate director, director-curator) in academic museums and galleries of all types and sizes. Other applicants will be given full consideration based upon the quality of their application, goals and professional interest.

The Application Review Team will determine admission as well as the distribution of potential scholarship funds to create a dynamic class of up to 40 academic museum and gallery leaders, representing different fields and institutional sizes and the diversity of American society.

All submitted information is strictly confidential.  Enrollment Applications are due: January 15, 2016.

[Early Enrollment (closed) Candidates will be notified of the Team’s decision by August 1, 2015. The first payment installment of $2,500 must be made by September 15, 2015. Scholarship awards in the form of tuition reductions will be made in December, 2015 and the Second and final payment is due January 31, 2016.]

Cost of the Seminar and Underwriting
The fee for the entire program is $4,500, and includes tuition, meals (Sunday dinner, June 19 through Friday lunch, June 24), and housing (nights of June 19 through June 23).  Travel and incidentals are the responsibility of each Seminar Fellow.  See the Application for further information.
