The 2023 Annual Conference is hosted by The University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, and will take place June 12-15, 2023.
What is required for academic museums and galleries to fully embrace their potential as dynamic civic institutions? AAMG’s 2023 annual conference will explore the role of our institutions in forwarding ethical social, civic, political, educational, environmental, and community well-being on our campuses and in our wider communities.
2023’s Conference invites us all to focus on the relationship between trust and service and how our institutions are inspiring practices to impact greater participation from our communities.
Love our 2023 theme but have other things on your mind? We want those proposals too! We always encourage sessions or discussions about our shared campus-museum issues and practices, and a big part of the AAMG conference is commiseration: sounding out your peers and colleagues about the things we do every day. We look forward to your ideas!
The 2023 Call for Proposals closed on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.
If you submitted to this year’s call, you should hear from the committee by end of February/beginning of March. Hotels are already booking up and registration will be released VERY soon so stay tuned!
