Academic museums have the unique privilege of being situated within communities dedicated to continuous experimentation, exploration, creation, and learning. Given these opportunities, academic museums often become community hubs for the discussion and transmission of newfound knowledge and expression. AAMG unites colleagues from academic museums across the United States to share their institution’s discoveries and collaborate. I am honored to be a member of this organization and am indebted to numerous colleagues nationwide who have graciously fostered this spirit of educational enlightenment.
