General Registration Includes:

AAMG and our host institution, the University of Iowa, have worked hard over the last year to put together as many details in advance of registration release to inform registrants of what they can expect during their time in Iowa City. However, updates and edits and continued additions are always to be expected as we get closer and closer to this year’s event. The schedule of sessions and other detailed events will post here to our site by early March.

Registration Add-ons:

For your travel and hotel booking needs you can expect the following schedule outline; this will be updated as we continue to add to and confirm items in our schedule:

  • Tuesday, June 9: Registration desk opens at 12:00pm CT, with afternoon sessions kicking off the conference
  • Our opening reception and activities will follow Tuesday evening starting at 6:00pm CT
  • Wednesday, June 10: Our first full day of sessions and events will take place starting at 9:00am CT and ending with our signature affinity dinners. These are informal gatherings at a number of local eateries each on different topics of discussion. The topics and sign up sheets will be posted at the registration table and seating for each dinner will be first come, first served. So be sure to check out the open spots when you arrive and check in. *Dinners are at your own cost and not included in registration.
  • Thursday, June 11: Our second full day of sessions and events will take place starting at 9:00am CT
  • Friday, June 12: Professional Development Excursions: These are an add on opportunity – more details to come.

We are very happy to offer the following all under the general registration costs outlined above:

  • Lunch and ongoing coffee and snack service will be served on the two full conference days (Wednesday and Thursday) (all hotels have breakfast options)
  • Tuesday evening: the host museums will be our host for our opening events and reception, including drinks and food
