Meet our 2025 Keynote Speaker!

We’re thrilled to announce that former secretary of the US Department of the Interior and New Mexico gubernatorial candidate, Deb Haaland will be the keynote speaker at the AAMG 2025 Annual Conference in Albuquerque, NM, hosted by the University of New Mexico Art Museum!

A historic leader, cultural advocate, and proud member of the Pueblo of Laguna, Haaland will share her insights on this year’s theme, “Belonging: Storytelling Across Campus and Community.” Her keynote will highlight the crucial role academic museums play in shaping inclusive narratives and fostering community connections.
