2023 Annual Conference

The 2023 Call for Proposals closed on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

If you submitted to this year’s call, you should hear from the committee by the end of March. Hotels are already booking up and registration will be released VERY soon so stay tuned!

Opening Up: Creating New Field Guides to Trust, Service, and Responsibility

2023’s Conference invites us all to focus on the relationship between trust and service and how our institutions are inspiring practices to impact greater participation from our communities.

The 2023 Annual Conference is hosted by The University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, and will take place June 12-15, 2023. Primary conference proceedings and sponsor booths will be located in the Adams Alumni Center.

June 12: Registration and sponsor booth set up will open by 1pm CT. Special Access Tours will start by 10:30am CT and conference sessions will start by 3:30pm CT this day, with the opening reception taking place that evening at The Spencer Museum of Art. (We recommend being on site ready for events by the morning of the 12th so that you can experience all that this year’s conference will be offering!) June 13: Core conference program taking place in the Jayhawk Welcome Center at the Adams Alumni Center. (Lunch will be served on site.)
June 14: Core conference program taking place in the Jayhawk Welcome Center at the Adams Alumni Center. (Lunch will be served on site.) *Sponsor booths must de-install by end of day today.
June 15: Off site excursions in surrounding communities taking place starting at 9am CT and concluding between 1 and 3pm CT. Post conference excursion details can be found here. *The airport is one hour from Lawrence.
