Director of Collections, Exhibitions, and Publications, Memphis Brooks Museum of Art
Jennifer Draffen is a 25-year veteran of the museum profession with a wide variety of expertise and experience in museums large and small. Prior to joining AMUM as Assistant Director, she spent 19 years in Chicago first as the Director of Collection and Exhibition Services for the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago and later as the Executive Director of Exhibitions and Registration at the Art Institute of Chicago. She has also served as the Curator of Collections for the Schenectady Museum and Planetarium and the Director of the Mandeville Gallery at Union College. Her skills include international exhibition planning and implementation, exhibition publications, collections management, fine art insurance, intellectual property, object preservation and storage, packing and shipping, and art handling.
