Survey Policy

The AAMG Executive Committee approved revised language for surveys conducted through the AAMG Groups.io listserv on July 21, 2020. AAMG allows non-AAMG based surveys to be released only through the AAMG Listserv. AAMG does not allow any non-AAMG based surveys to be released through any other AAMG based social platforms. The following language must be included in your survey if you plan to utilize the listserv platform to gather data:

By participating in this survey, you acknowledge and accept the following:

Users of this listserv agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless, AAMG and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, and agents against all loss, claims, demands, causes of action, liabilities, expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees and costs arising from any claim arising out of or resulting from in whole or part any breach of these guidelines by the user or any omission or act taken by the user. In no event will AAMG be responsible to the users for any indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages or losses users may incur in connection with the AAMG listserv (and any survey data collected or disseminated) or any of the data or other materials transmitted through or residing on the listserv.

In addition to the language above, surveys must also ask respondents to include their university/institutional affiliation. Failure to include this question will delay survey release on the listserv.
