Curator of Academic Engagement at the University of Wyoming Art Museum
Raechel Cook is a dot connector, experience constructor, and current Curator of Academic Engagement at the University of Wyoming Art Museum. She believes that the arts are integral to a complete education and works with UW faculty, staff, and students from all academic disciplines to facilitate meaningful art encounters with the Museum’s collection. Raechel brings with her eight years of higher education administration experience as well as experience as a practicing artist. She graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Art & Design from the University of Northern Colorado and received her MFA in Visual Art from the University of Kansas. Her research explores textiles, collecting, our relationship with everyday objects, and how objects acquire meaning.
