Adina Duke is Associate Director for Public Engagement at the Spencer Museum of Art (University of Kansas) where she co-creates programs, events, and interpretive materials; leads the visitor experience program; and guides various community initiatives. Prior to joining the Spencer, she held positions at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City, MO where she led adult programs including “Memories in the Making” for people with dementia and at the Holocaust Museum Houston where she created programs and exhibitions in collaboration with survivors and community advisors. Adina’s work with people with disabilities in the museum environment began as an intern leading tours for blind, visually impaired, d/Deaf, and hard of hearing youth at Austin’s Umlauf Sculpture Garden and Museum.
