Assistant Curator for Campus and Public Programs – Weatherspoon Art Museum, UNC Greensboro

The Weatherspoon Art Museum on the campus of UNC Greensboro seeks to hire a full-time Assistant Curator for Campus and Public Programs. The Assistant Curator will manage the scheduling and implementation of university and public programming and engage with university and community audiences through cross-disciplinary, multi-modal instruction. This includes maintaining the museum’s programs and events calendar, managing the volunteer docent program, teaching university classes, and serving as the liaison for K–12 school engagement.

All members of the Weatherspoon Art Museum team participate in developing a vibrant and engaged community by promoting the museum’s commitment to access, equity, diversity, and inclusion. We seek a colleague whose interests focus on facilitating innovative teaching and learning, building lasting relationships, and collaborating with campus and community partners. The successful candidate should have experience working with peoples from diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds across diverse settings. The position has an ideal start date in early 2022.
