The Emerging Museum Professionals Journal is accepting papers for
consideration for its third volume: “Museum Futures: Museums as Change Agents.”
In this third volume of the “Museum Futures” series, we explore how museums are sites of
change that can influence their communities at-large. The context of change can be
considered broadly and might include society, education, politics, arts, the environment, and
much more. Theory & Practice invites submissions from emerging professionals across the
entire museum community, defined as institutions that utilize a collection to educate the
public. Case studies, research papers, presentations, exhibition reviews, and book reviews
