Director – Tandem Press, University of Wisconsin, Madison

Tandem Press, a publisher of fine art prints by internationally renowned artists, is seeking a new Director to build upon Tandem Press’ success to take it to the next level. The next Director will have knowledge of the contemporary art world and be able to create and execute a vision for Tandem Press’ future utilizing strong relationship management and fundraising skills while also possessing proven leadership skills.

Tandem Press’ next leader will come to this opportunity with knowledge of the contemporary art market and an appreciation for fine print making and the capacity to create a vision to build upon Tandem Press’ current success. Located in Madison, WI, Tandem is a part of the Art Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison which has the number one print making department in the country. The next leader will ensure the organization’s continued financial stability and work to grow both the donor base as well as opportunities for sales of fine prints. Compensation Amount

The annual salary range for the Director of Tandem Press is $143-173k, commensurate with experience and includes a full benefit package. Tandem Press hopes to make its decision by May 15, 2004 with the chosen candidate assuming the position sometime in the summer.
