Bill Matt has been the Deputy Director at the MSU Broad for five years. In this role, Bill supervises functional areas of Facilities, Visitor Services, Finance, Human Resources, Exhibition Management & Installation, Collections, and Communications. Previously he worked in administration for MSU Auxiliary Enterprises, and at the MSU (Science & Culture) Museum helping launch the Great Lakes Folk Festival in 2002. Bill is an AAM Peer Site Evaluator and is a member and Treasurer of the Lansing Mayoral Arts & Culture Commission. He previously served on numerous boards and commissions including Lansing City Council, Ingham County Parks Commission and the Potter Park Zoo Board. Bill has worked with MSU students as a mentor for the Broad Business College and led immersive learning experiences for students in the Residential College for Arts & Humanities. He has a M.A. in Education Administration and B.A. in Business, both from Michigan State University.
