Professor of Practice and Executive Director of the Community Folk Art Center (CFAC): Syracuse University

The Department of African American Studies (AAS) at Syracuse University invites applications for the position of Professor of Practice and Executive Director of the Community Folk Art Center (CFAC). Founded in 1971 as a unit of the AAS Department, CFAC is a vibrant site for visual and performing arts of African Americans and of the African Diaspora. It is devoted to arts programming that engages Black cultures and serves as a nexus between the University community and people of African descent in surrounding regions.

This is an academic year faculty appointment, with required summer responsibilities compensated in addition.
