Community Engagement Specialist – Haffenreffer Museum of Anthropology, Brown University

Brown University’s Haffenreffer Museum of Anthropology seeks a Community Engagement Specialist to foster engagement with stakeholder communities – particularly regional Indigenous communities and Tribal organizations – in the development of the Museum’s outreach, public programming, educational initiatives, and exhibitions in anticipation of a planned move to Providence, RI. This is a limited-term, full-time position with benefits, funded through a four-year grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

The Museum seeks candidates able to start in summer 2019, with experience developing, running, or completing similar projects, a B.A. or B.Sc. degree (or higher) in a field related to anthropology or Native American studies, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
