Coe College Department of Art and Art History

The Coe College Department of Art and Art History seeks a Director of Collections and Galleries and Instructor in Art History. This is a full time position with responsibilities that include planning and installing the annual series of exhibitions in the College’s Sinclair Galleries and overseeing the College’s Permanent Collection of Art. Additionally, this individual will teach three art history courses per year, participate in the department’s Senior Seminar, and supervise the Student Gallery.

A Ph.D. in Art History, with experience in Modern and Contemporary Art required. Preference will be given to those candidates capable of teaching a range of subjects and with previous museum or gallery experience. Additionally, this person will have the opportunity to work with the department to develop a Museum Studies concentration.
