Carey Champion is the director of Indiana University Libraries’ Wylie House Museum and Morton C. Bradley, Jr. Education Center. She facilitates the use of the 19th century house museum’s archival and object collections in subjects from a wide variety of disciplines, providing curriculum-based tours, teaching with primary sources, and collaborating with faculty on assignment and course design. Her research areas include traditional pedagogies as they apply to archival instruction and the academic use and potential of historic house museums in higher education. She earned both her MLS and her BA in sociology from Indiana University.
