Darci Hanna is Assistant Curator at the MassArt Art Museum (MAAM) at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) in Boston. Since joining MassArt’s curatorial team in 2007, Hanna has helped produce over 50 exhibitions and many free public programs for the college. Prior to MassArt, Hanna held positions at the Williams College Museum of Art, Mass MoCA, and the Sterling & Francine Clark Art Institute. In 2015, she developed Drawing Together, a popular program offering free guided community drawing sessions for MAAM visitors led by local artists, art therapists, and MassArt faculty and students. Her recent exhibition, Game Changers: Video Games and Contemporary Art, highlights contemporary artists charting new territory and using innovative approaches to art-making through video games and virtual worlds. Hanna holds undergraduate degrees in Studio Art, Art History, and Spanish from the University of Kansas and a M.A. in Art History from Williams College.
