Vero Rose Smith cares about people and the places people live. Smith holds a Masters of Design Studies in Art, Design, and the Public Domain from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, a Masters of Art in Architectural History from the University of Iowa, and a triple undergraduate degree from Augustana College (Rock Island, IL). Smith’s studio practice confronts climate change data while her curatorial practice and pedagogy focus on radical access to the arts. Smith is currently Associate Curator of Special Projects at the University of Iowa Stanley Museum of Art and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Practice at the University of Iowa.
